الجهاد و المجاهدين
الْجِهَادُ عِمَادُ الدِّينِ وَمِنْهَاجُ السُّعَدَاءِ
Struggling [in the way of Allah] is the pillar of faith and the path of the felicitous

الْمُجَاهِدُونَ تُفَتَّحُ لَهُمْ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ
The doors of the heavens are opened for those who strive [in the way of Allah]

إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا تَغْلِبُونَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْجِهَادِ جِهَادٌ بِأَيْدِيكُمْ ثُمَّ بِأَلْسِنَتِكُمْ ثُمَّ بِقُلُوبِكُمْ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَعْرِفْ بِقَلْبِهِ مَعْرُوفاً وَلَمْ يُنْكِرْ مُنْكَراً قُلِّبَ فَجُعِلَ أَعْلَاهُ أَسْفَلَهُ
The first thing which you overcome through Jih?d is through striving with your hands, then [if this is not possible] by your tongue, then [if this is not possible] with your hearts; and the one who neither supports good with his heart nor censures evil, is turned upside down [iewill face the wrath of Allah]

إِنَّ أَكْرَمَ الْمَوْتِ الْقَتْلُ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَأَلْفُ ضَرْبَةٍ بِالسَّيْفِ أَهْوَنُ مِنْ مِيتَةٍ عَلَى الْفِرَاشِ
Verily the most honourable of deaths is martyrdomBy He in whose hand my soul is, one thousand strikes with the sword are indeed easier [for me] than dying on the bed

بَقِيَّةُ السَّيْفِ أَنْمَى عَدَداً وَأَكْثَرُ وَلَداً
The survivors of war grow larger in number and have more children

ثَوَابُ الْجِهَادِ أَعْظَمُ الثَّوَابِ
The reward for striving [in the way of Allah] is the greatest reward

رُبَّ حَرْبٍ أَعْوَدُ مِنْ سِلْمٍ
Many a war is more beneficial than peace

زَكَاةُ الْبَدَنِ الْجِهَادُ وَالصِّيَامُ
The purification of the body is [in] striving and fasting

زَكَاةُ الشَّجَاعَةِ الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
The alms-tax of courage is struggling in the way of Allah

صَمْداً صَمْداً حَتَّى يَنْجَلِيَ لَكُمْ عَمُودُ الْحَقِّ وَأَنْتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ وَاللَّهُ مَعَكُمْ وَلَنْ يَتِرَكُمْ أَعْمالَكُمْ
Keep on enduring and remain firm, until the pillar of truth illuminates upon you while you have the upper hand, and Allah is with you, and never will He stint [the reward of] your deeds

ضَارِبُوا عَنْ دِينِكُمْ بِالظُّبَى وَصِلُوا السُّيُوفَ بِالْخُطَا وَانْتَصِرُوا بِاللَّهِ تَظْفَرُوا وَتُنْصَرُوا
Defend your religion with the edge of blades, charge forward [against the enemy] with your swords and seek the help of Allah you will gain victory and [His] assistance

مَنْ جَاهَدَ عَلَى إِقَامَةِ الْحَقِّ وُفِّقَ
One who struggles to establish the truth is granted success [by Allah]
