بالتقوى والورع يكون صلاح الدين
التَّقْوَى ثَمَرَةُ الدِّينِ وَأَمَارَةُ الْيَقِينِ
God-wariness is the fruit of faith and the sign of certitude

الْوَرَعُ يُصْلِحُ الدِّينَ وَيَصُونُ النَّفْسَ وَيُزَيِّنُ الْمُرُوَّةَ
Piety reforms the faith, protects the soul and adorns magnanimity

أَفْسَدَ دِينَهُ مَنْ تَعَرَّى عَنِ الْوَرَعِ
He who divests himself of piety has corrupted his faith

إِذَا اتَّقَيْتَ الْمُحَرَّمَاتِ وَتَوَرَّعْتَ عَنِ الشُّبُهَاتِ وَأَدَّيْتَ الْمَفْرُوضَاتِ وَتَنَفَّلْتَ بِالنَّوَافِلِ فَقَدْ أَكْمَلْتَ فِي الدِّينِ الْفَضَائِلَ
When you keep away from the forbidden, refrain from that which you are unsure about, fulfil that which is obligatory and perform the acts that are recommended, then you have perfected the virtues of faith
